I have the HPS built for Larry Miller by the two Bills, several years ago. It is an outstanding rig and continues to delight me everytime I ride it. However, today I had some new rubber installed, same brand/size tires as were taken off. The tire shop that did the tire work could not figure out how to remove the space on the rear, left side, that the wheel is bolted to. The spacer is turned into a volcano shape, held on by these fasteners.
Being the Nut-kill head that I am, I did not know either and did not want to pull the tire to try to figure it out.. I am hoping that Zentime and or others can tell me what type of fastener was used to hold the spacer on this earlier HPS conversion.

I have a BMW K1200RS with the same wheels. you should have four (4) bolts holding the wheel and five(5) holding the cone shaped spacer to the drive. Once all the bolts are removed the spacer may need a tap with a rubber malet to loosen.
I wil be in Cincinatti July 24-26th, if I can be of any help let me know.
I've put over 40k on this one so far.

What Dennis said.
Tub, sorry for the delay in answering your question. I've been pretty busy getting ready for our trip and didn't see this. Glad Dennis answered your question.

Thanks for the replies. I apologize for not responding earlier, but have been away for some time. I hope to get to it this week. The rig still works well, and there is tread left on the rear wheel, so it has not been a concern. I hope to get back to is this week.
I will let you all know how it goes then.

Finally got around to looking at it again. Got the wheel off and the new tire on, and back together. Thanks for all the assistance.
