Keith: note the cush drive.... this is a driven wheel, you only need one.
On the front end, and on the chair, you can use a standard automotive part... no need to reinvent the wheel |

Sorry, for the quality of the scan job on these pictures. I'll try to have them re-scanned. But for now, here's some pictures of the first C14 Hannigan rig. There's a C14 with the Hannigan HP sidecar on it in the works too. Should be able to post pictures of that in a couple of weeks.

Seeing as how no one wants to comment...
That looks pretty nice.
I wonder how it handles compared to Hannigan's HP Sidecar.
That rear wheel came out awesome, kind of matches the sidecar wheel.
Looks very comfortable and roomy, some thing you would not mind driving across the country with.
Who's ever it is, "Very Nice".

The sidecar doesn't look exactly like anything else I see on Hannigan's website. The front end of the sidecar looks a lot like the original Bandito car, except for the wrap-around windshield and the flip-up front to make ingress/egress a lot easier for the passenger. The back end and roof look like the Astro series. Looks about the same width as the Bandito, too; the bodywork around the wheel looks the same, probably covering the same suspension, I would not expect a lot of difference in handling.

Well, the original Bandito certainly fits that description, too. Not only across the country, but across the whole continent! Comfy enough that the passengers keep falling asleep, even on less than good pavement. _________________ David D

I'm in process of buying c-14 hps from Jay Hall. I assume that it is one of the units that you refer to. The pics are gone from this thread but as a x moldmaker I'd to seem the, if you still have them. |
