Here's what my K1100 drive shaft universal looks like
I was on the way home from work and shifted into second with "youthful exuberance" and just got a loud clanging sound and no more connection between the transmission and rear wheel.
Besides the universal there doesn't seem to be any splines on the shaft behind it.

Thanks, just what I need, another project.
So far I haven't been able to get the swingarm pivot pin out, to get the swingarm off, to get the rest of the drive shaft off the transmission. _________________ Mike Currin

Well Mike that is properly karma biting you in the ass and hopefully more to come.
Why would you sue the Apple Cover Inn because your Super Eagle Scout Cody set himself on fire because he was throwing gas on the fire, but I bet his girl friend was impressed. I would think if he was a really a Super Eagle Scout that he should have learned better. So much for taking responsibility for your actions. I just can't believe how some people get by in life. Never my fault, always someone else's so I want their stuff.
Mike you should be so proud of the lesson that you all have taught your son. This will help him live in the new Hurray for me and f*** you world.

Mike
It has been a few years since we've seen or talked to you , Mike.
We have many fond memories of days spent at "the Applecover" with the HPS group.
It has recently come to our attention that Derrick and Amy no longer own it and
the events that lead to that.
Let's just say that the whole thing is pretty disgusting ! Both the fact that
your son lit himself on fire and then blamed the owners of the grounds on which
he committed the act of stupidity. Really ???
Cody's injuries should have been a lesson to Cody !!
But, you found it necessary to rob another family of their livelihood as payback ?
Shame on you !
Karma is a bitch and it will come back on you !
Can't believe how badly we misjudged you character or should I say, lack of it !

none of you were there
none of you were involved in the events and discussions that led to this point
none of you heard the rest of the story we've heard from enough different people in Maggie Valley to believe
none of you doubted the distorted truth and outright lies spread on another website
none of you reached out to me to find the truth
I'm done

Mike,
I'm glad my friend Doug was close by when Cody caught himself on fire, and was able to help put the fire out before it got any worst.
A good explanation on the events leading up to the pictures you posted on August 12, would have gone a long way in helping people form a judgement on the outcome, instead of appearing like Cody was gloating.
