Since you have owned both a leaner and non leaner, can you tell us your preference for one over the other? Make a comparison? _________________ CBR1100XX/EZS

oohhh, for me its very difficult to describe the preferences.
To drive the leaner i think its easyer and relaxed, also if you go a little faster. But only if the road is good, i mean no rain, no snow an some mud, i like the feeling going with a sidecar and drive in slope. one detriment is the space, in the leaner is only place for one passenger and some small luggage.
To drive the non leaner (for example my FJ-Speed) is also very great, but it is, i dont know the right word, its like to restrain the machine, everything is a little different, its funny, its great, its a battle, i mean it on positive side.
In the Winter i drive my Transalp-Velorex, it is a good-natured combination, not for highspeed but better than a solo for not slip away in snow and ice. Its nice to ride this but the base to ride this is to ride in Winter.
All in all i would say both of them have the qualification to make fun, and if i had enough money i would like to have a leaner and one of this HPS fix combination _________________ with greetings from AUSTRIA, Harald

Interesting perspective. I wonder if the FJ was much heaver as well I went back over your old post to find pictures of your FJ but could only find pictures from the rear. Of course it may have been buried in the SNOW in some of your old posts. Do you have any pictures of your FJ from the front or side you could post?
While looking back at some of your old post, I became envious of the amazing roads you have over there.
so did you want to change your name back to Kubaswing....... _________________ CBR1100XX/EZS

Flint, looks like fun.
You could keep both.
Wish I'd remembered you last year when I was planing on going to Austria, but our plans fell through.

hi Guys
because the R 1100 R was not really good for me, i change it to a 1150 GS
so, look here
The Rig is one from Kalich, i like it! Maybe not so spacy as the Armec, but really good to drive and more space inside. After riding some Km i was really happy with it and i think it will stay a long time
