I'm Leroy from Lexington. I've had sidecars before but nothing elaborate or even well sorted out. Not being a high-performance motorcyclist I'm not seeing a HP sidecar in my near future, but I'm planning on putting together a dual sport outfit using my VStrom DL1000 as a tug. I'm addicted to dirt and gravel roads but I don't bounce after get-offs as well as I did when I was in my 30's. Maybe a well-engineered dual sport outfit will keep me in the saddle well past the time that I have to give up solo bikes.
Your HP rigs are, well, simply amazing. I can't afford to get infected however - I want to stay married. |

Welcome to the forum. Hope to hear more of your plans for the dual sport rig as I have a similar desire as an additional rig. Pictures, please, when you have them. |

Welcome to the Forum.
In case you haven't seen it yet - One of our members, Doug, has built a dualsport rig with a Yamaha FZ1, and posted a couple of short videos on our Videos/Movies page. http://www.hpsidecars.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=878
Seems to be quite the rig.
And you don't have to be too scared of Ralph, I've heard that he's really a nice guy, too. _________________ David D
