So, who was out riding in the blizzard on Friday? I-93 north of Boston, a few miles south of the New Hampshire line:
Looks like a Ural/Dnepr chair, not sure about the bike. |

This one was on I-93 out of Concord, NH:

And this group photo posted with this explanation:
"Hi, I'm a Ducati Owner, actually the President of the New England Desmo Owners Club. I saw that post on Facebook with orange Ural on rte 93 in New Hampshire it was posted by one of our members. It wasn't the only Ural out on the roads today just by chance my wife works at Johnsons Dairybar in New Durham NH. Four of them pulled in for lunch. Being a winter rider, and always looking for winter postings for our club. I did a search to see who they are, and found this group. Thought you might want to see a picture.
Ted"

hehe looks like a good time to call out a HPS for a sidecar drag race
I lost a race in 74 to a harley in the snow riding a Z1 kawasaki.
Both had sidecars. _________________ "So Soon Old & So Late Smart" |

I don't know, Ralph. I suspect that most of the HPS riders that I know up in New England hibernate for the winter (or at least their rigs do).
I know that my own rig, with those high performance summer tires on it, wouldn't be too happy on roads like that. But now I'm wondering if it wouldn't be fun to try some snow tires on it.
By the way, the storm that hit those New Englanders really hard over the weekend didn't do much where I live in NY. About 4 inches of snow fell here and everything was back to normal by the time the snow stopped falling. _________________ David D
