I´m riding sidecars for 40 years now, diefferent bikes, different sidecars. I´m happe to say, that I´ve ridden most of the street sidecars, that have been built in Europe since the 80s. I´m working as a freelancer specialized in sidecars for different magazines and also for our own bilangual magazine INTERNATIONAL SIDECAR TRAVELLER. I´ll post some pics and videos of really interesting hacks in the near future.
Greetings from Germany

Hello Martin,
Welcome to the HPS Gang good to have some 'new blood' in here .. some of these guys are older than you
I'm Trev .. The Polar Bear .. and I'm based in Denia Southern Spain.
Unlike most Europeans .. I don't do languages .. as you might know us Brits just shout louder so I'm very interested in the bilingual magazine you talk about.
Have you any info as to where I might get a copy .. no such thing in Spain?
Building your own rig must be fun .. I don't have the skills of the facilities to do that .. my Honda CB1300s and EZS was made for me by Dave & Eddy at EZS up in Holland.
I do a few long haul ride-outs every year .. 1.500 miles to the UK and back in June and also currently planning a 2.500 mile trip up to the European Sidecar Rally in Luxembourg in August .. you could pop down and join in on a peddle cycle from Germany
Looking forward to your photo's and hope that we may one day meet up.
Good Luck and as always .. Stay Safe Trev _________________ Stay Safe ;o) |
