I have a question for those in this group that have built, or are driving hub center steering rigs.
Is "trail" purely a function of the caster angle?
Is the steering axis (of the upright/spindle) in the vertical plane (at some caster angle), or is it offset at some angle, out of the vertical plane, similar to automotive spindles?
Thanks,

Thanks, Bill. You guys all seem to be driving "Corvettes". I'm interested in building an "MG", moderate HP, air cooled motor, light weight (relatively), with hub center steering. The design is evolving.

Bill,
When the first parts get fabricated, I'll have photos. I would like to see the fabricator about my upright design in the next week or so.
