I've been enjoying hpsidecars.com for awhile now and thought I should login and introduce myself. I go by SIDEWISE on most forums but I have used other handles inline with the forum's theme.

I have been riding motorcycles since '66. starting with a BSA A7. I got into sidecars in'91 when I attached a Velorex 562 to my '83 XS650SK. I've installed several sidecars for friends including: a Jawa/V7 Ambassador, Champion/GL1100, Ural/R50/2 and a few others.

Having no children around -- all grown, and a grandson too far away, I grew tired of my XS650 outfit after piloting it for about 16 years trading for an extremely low mileage '96 Sportster. I missed sidecaring but needed a more practical rig. I found HP Sidecars very interesting so I setout to find a more enjoyable outfit. This past summer picked up a 'ST1100/EZS RX5 in AL and wife and I rode it home to NJ.

Not a true HP Sidecar but the 100HP, LL front end and three wheels shod in automobile tires make it much more interesting and wide enough to be practical.

Welcome
HP Sidecars are not just about HP, but about handling and performance. You definitely have a stage 1 HPS.

Welcome,

Compared to a lot of the rigs out there that is an HPS.
