Hey Y`all,
Forum is quite...guess most HP sidecarists....especially those of you up north are in a stage of "cabin fever"?? and I feel sorry for members in the land of OZ ..... flooding news is terrible, whole cities underwater, ..... and my fellow limeys are getting hit bad by snow and ice .... my bro in Devon UK, mentioned it snowed there?? .... even here in Florida the wind chill factor is in the 20,s and forecast to get colder tomorrow and Friday ......... _________________ OLDBRITGIT |

Well, I did go out for a 40 mile ride with my rig on January 2nd, in between snowstorms and after a couple of warm days had melted all of the previous slop from the roads. First ride for the year. This was in upstate New York and the temperature was about 40 F that day (that's 4-5 C for those of you that think in those other degrees.)
Lots of my friends already think I'm crazy for riding long past what they consider the riding season for "normal" people . But I look at Flint's pictures from his Dreikönigstreffen (the Three King's winter rally in Austria) http://www.flint.at/ and I realize that THEY are the ones that are really crazy.
Of course, if there were something like that somewhere around here, I'd probably think about going myself _________________ David D
