If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a stupid song about him?

I asked a friend of mine, who is a musician, as well as a bike (2 wheel variety) rider about this question that seems to have perplexed all of us on the forum. His answer:

Serious Answer?

The song states... "I don't care"... not "No one Cares"... The "I" in this case is a slave singing about his master... and how the master was thrown from his horse and died as a result of the swarms of blue tail flies. One theory is that the slave is lamenting the loss of his master and feels responsible for the death... after all, it was his job to brush away the blue tail flies. Others believe that the slave is rejoicing in the death of his master and may have purposely caused the "accident". Either way... "I don't care" could mean that he is grief stricken... nothing matters now that my master is dead. Or that his master's death means nothing to him... " I don't care"

My Real Answer.... "I Don't F*cking Care""... go ride your motorcycle....

Have fun... waiting for the warm...

I think I like his "Real Answer" better. Sounds like a lot more fun. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
