Is anyone still out there? Any plans for any trips? Are any of the western riders still riding?
I wanted to ride mine in to work today, but I was saved by having 8' of snow blown against my garage door.
Did anyone get a new rig or do any updates on the existing unit?

If anyone is still out there, they must be frozen into an ice statue by now, at least anywhere in this part of the country. Where I am in New York, we didn't get the snow that you did near the coast, but it's really cold and windy, wind chill temps way below zero. Haven't ridden my rig or any of my 2 wheelers since last year. Think I'll wait for summer before I take any trips.

I do have a repair job to do on my rig - last week, while trying to get my snowblower out of the garage, I ran it into and broke the stem for the front directional light on the bike. Sad Sad
Think I'll wait for the weather to warm up a bit before I go out to the (unheated) garage and try to do anything with it.

David,
I believe it was -4 here this morning with plenty of wind chill. You and I must be the only ones that didn't freeze solid.

If our friends up north of Boston aren't frozen solid, they're probably still trying to dig out of the snow they got.

Ralph,
I'd say give it a little longer; no sense rushing; maybe by summer----

When I read this, my first thought was that either you really didn't need those sprockets and chain, or that you haven't been doing much riding in the last 2 years. Big Grin Big Grin

Of course, you don't REALLY need them until the sprocket(s) are worn enough and/or the chain is stretched enough that the chain starts slipping on what's left of the sprocket. And yes, I've been there/done that myself.
In the middle of a trip, about 2,000 miles from home.Exclamation Exclamation (But only about 15 miles from a bike shop that was able to help me out.)

Good luck, Ralph.

You need to get a toy like Zen has in the video he posted above. And if you can convince yourself that it really IS a toy, maybe you can even start to believe that you're having fun. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hey Ralph, I went to the supermarket and bought some frozen shrimp. Does that count as "ice fishing?" Or does that just confirm your first statement?Laughing Laughing Laughing
How about your ice fishing expedition? Catch anything? Frostbite maybe?
