The Ice fishing trip was good except the 8 hour trip without smoking. Saturday we fished on the open ice and it was 25 but not bad. Sunday we went 3 miles out on the ice to a shanty with heat and a underwater camera. It was cool to watch the fish bite. The ice was 12” thick 3 miles out. Our guide pick us up with a 4 wheeler with a homemade sled on the back. 3 miles on that was fairly ruff but the trip back in the dark was the trip from hell. The wind was blowing about 20 and it was 12 Stars not fun at all. We caught 20 fish Total.
We caught Bass, Walleye, Crappie, and Pike. We ate the walleye and crappie, very good I might add.
I give the experience a 7.5 and now I am into ice fishing and waiting for another freeze up around here.
O and they delivered pizza out to the shanty for lunch on a snowmobile and it was still hot Very Happy

Where was this fishing expedition, Ralph?

Did seeing the snowmobiles and 4 wheelers on the ice make you think about getting a set of wheels with studded snow tires so you can get out there yourself on your own rig Question Laughing

You need to get a toy like Zen has in the video he posted above. And if you can convince yourself that it really IS a toy, maybe you can even start to believe that you're having fun. Laughing Laughing Laughing

I took your advise...
