I spent three weeks riding my BMW F650 GS in Germany and Scandinavia (mostly Norway) earlier this summer.

On my first night in Norway, I saw this parked by the tent next to me at the campground:

Of course I had to go and talk to the couple occupying the tent, and discovered that the wife doesn't really care much for riding in her husband's sidecar, which explains the presence of HER bike, also parked next to the tent:

That was the only sidecar I saw on this trip. As for 2 wheeled bikes - the usual assortment of Japanese bikes, a lot of BMWs that were packed to look like they were traveling, and, particularly in Norway, a surprisingly large number of Harleys. Another surprise was the number of "classic" 50s, 60s and early 70s American cars. Mostly saw those cars just in passing on the road, didn't get any pictures, except this one in a campground:

That's a tent mounted on the roof of their station wagon. The white and black license plate is their Norwegian plate, the other is the California plate that was on the car when they bought it here in the US. The owner also rides a Harley, has several other old American cars, and he and his wife each have their own 70s Corvette.

Norway is a really beautiful country, with mountains, fjords, lots of waterfalls, nice campgrounds, practically everybody is friendly and speaks good English (especially important for a traveler like me who doesn't speak anything but English,) occasional sheep in the road, and just lots of beautiful scenery.

I spent a little over one week in Norway, temperatures were a bit cool, in the 60s F during the day, and down into the 40s and low 50s at night, the biggest problem was that there was at least a bit of rain almost every day, mostly 5 or 10 minute light showers several times each day, with one day of hard rain for a couple of hours while the temp was in the low 50s F (that would be the low teens in C degrees)

And the highlight of the whole trip was the wedding of my German friend Dominik. I know that several of the members on this forum have met him, either at the EGT back in 2012, or when he has been over in the US riding with me.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom ringing the bell in the town hall, where the ceremony took place:

Welcome to the forum, Elizabeth, and thanks for your first post.

Yes, a trip in Norway certainly is worthy of being on a bucket list. I would suggest sooner rather than later, because you'll want to go back again. (This was my second bike trip there.)

Hi Dave,

Love the pictures.
My favorite is the Caprice wagon camper top.
