Took a little road trip to ride some old favorite twistys last week
- Apple Cover Inn & campground is closed (story on their Facebook page)
- I thought I saw Derrick but when I returned he was gone.
-Deals Gap busy as usual, lots of bikes, cars, and police
- Blue Ridge was spectacular as usual and very little traffic
- 215 has been recently paved up to the Pisgah forest on the north side
-276 is getting ready for a new coat (sorely needed)
- Wheels Thru Time is only open on the weekends
- Hog Wild BBQ is closed on Mondays. Sad
- great weather with the afternoon thunder showers as usual.
- broke in the new puppy, he's now a sidecar dog Smile
- Only one minor "oh shit" moment (thankfully not with the pup)
- - lots of fun but missed the gang
And the FJR got a long needed work out as did I.

Hi Jay, thanks for the Maggie Valley update. Sad to hear Derrick and Amy have closed the Apple Cover Inn but you can't argue with putting your kids first. Wish them all the best. Your fortunate to live so close to Maggie Valley. Sounds like you had nice time. How about a picture of you and the pooch in sidecar Question Big Grin

Hope to see you guys in WV! Question Question

The Applecover Inn is closed because Cody Currin set his self in fire while throwing a cup of gas on a camp fire that he took from a gas can. So the Currins sued Derrick and Amy and got the Applecover Inn as a settlement. Cody is an Eagle Scout with many badges.
Cody looks like a proud Eagle Scout here with the keys that he got for setting his self on fire.
What is wrong with this world today. Good job dad.
