Well, he's home (they needed the hospital room or would have kept him a few more days.)
Still sounds a little horse, we have to put his food through the blender, and he has to give himself a shot of blood thinner every 12 hours. (That's a shot with a needle, not a glass.) Has a series of stretching excercises to do 5 times a day. Plus he lost about 25 pounds.

Glad to hear that Cody was home. Been about 3 weeks since posting. Wondering how Cody is doing.

He's doing great. Right now he's getting read to move back into the dorm.
He's gained about 8 pounds back.
Still has to do streching excercises 5 times a day, that will go on for several more months, and wear a collar to keep the skin grafts on his neck from contracting. Plus twice a day, for three months, he has to give himself a shot of blood thinner, he developed a small clot near where one of the IVs went in.
So all is good, he is a little leery around fire, and even boiling water on the stove now, which is probably a good thing. _________________ Mike Currin
