Our house is on very sandy soil and way above the water table so flooding is not a concern for us but this is what it looked like about a mile from our house. It's an old mill complex in our little nearby village.

Glad to hear you're OK ... my house is in the same situation, so no problems here either, plus we didn't get nearly the rain that fell closer to the coast. Big Grin

and with the weather today, think I'll go Buddies with my Suzuki
or maybe ride my Moto Guzzi

Nice to hear your both safe and well.

We've had a few villages around us in the same waterlogged way, hopfully the weather is now changing for the better.
At the moment we are at the top of a hill, maybe if we'd had anymore rain we could end up at the bottom !

Loking forward to a year of sunny dry riding.
