I find it strange not just this site but other bike sites too.
This is the time of year when very few of us get chance to go out due to the weather conditions.
Here we are filling in our 2009 diaries with places to go and people to see.
Finishing off those important improvements we started over winter, or just getting our sidecars back in shape.
Yet along with others the forums seems quiet, just when you'd expect them to be full of chatter and the latest news.
Anyone know why, I'd be glad to hear.

Well I don't know about others but my wheels are turning about next year
bmcsheehy and I are working on C14 and ZX14 conversions for the coming year. Last year I was the last one to get my ZX14 together. This year my C14 is going to be the first one built.
Fantasizing again about maybe going to Europe this summer to attend a sidecar Rally in France.
maybe this one
17ème rassemblement européen du SCCF July 11 -19
or maybe this one
24ème Inter de l’Amicale Sidecariste de France Aug 13 -16
Then tour Southern France and Northern Spain
It looks like it's about 800 km from the port city of La Rochelle France to Barcelona Spain.
Any of our French members know which Rally would be best to go to?
Google Translation
Les membres français de notre savoir Rally qui serait le mieux pour aller à?

Zen,
Before you rush off to far flung countries.
The Federation of Sidecars have their rally around the same month, now I'll be at the Fed one along with Moses, we hope.
It's in England and lasts the whole of August Bank Holiday (which is the 27th - 1st Sept) it's also near some airports Birmingham being one.
So watch this space and I'll let you have some confirmed details once I get them.

Maybe I should mount the C14 sidecar on the left! _________________ CBR1100XX/EZS

Thinking on my feet here but what about this
French Rally 1st Aug -8th Aug
ST Dizier
Leyrenne
France.
Hope on the channel Tunnel Train and speed along under the English Channel at speeds of 160mph whilst you have a coffee.
Get off at London then make your way to.
They are both Federation Rallies so theres a chance you maybe able to join one of the English groups coming home.
Federation Rally 28th Aug -31st Aug
Mortimer Park
Hereford Road
Kingsland
Herefordshire
England
So thats about a month out of your lives but, I guess about 400 different sidecars you'll see, minimum.

our normal vacation is the last week in Aug and the first week in July so
Federation Rally 28th Aug -31st Aug
would be a possibility
no way can we take a month off. Even 3 weeks would be pushing it. _________________ CBR1100XX/EZS
