An old friend is back,
Norton Motorcycles are back in business, the 2009 range is out.
Will bring pictures from the show in December.
How long before one of you puts a chair on this.

There's a racing street model too in Black & Gold.

Very nice... but with a 1000cc vertical twin, best ring your dentist as well!

The web site is http://www.nortonmotorcycles.com - it says they're working on a rotary as well.

This model was developed in the US, and the company went bankrupt a few years back, I think right after the Gilroy CA made Indians went under. I always thought it (the Norton, not the Indian ) was a great looking bike and hated to see them go under.

According to the website they bought all the rights and intellectual property. So there's hope.

Her's a page from our biking paper, if you click on the Norton link it'll tell you all about the new owner.

I know some of you know of Jeremy Clarkson, so if you click on his name you can see how much he hates bikes.

Yes, but we love Jeremy dearly, so we'll let that one go.

I think the new owner is punching out the motor a bit, this http://www.nortonmotorcycles.com/bike/bike_961specs.asp says the new bike is 961 cc.
