It was a great ride Paul, Bill, Larry and Roger, Clapping despite the bit of rain we had.

Looks like it was about a 415 mile ride for me

This is the rout we ended up taking.

Bill and I met up with Paul at the first rest stop in New Hampshire.
Then we met up With Larry at the Ascutney fire station.

We then continued to the camp ground and met up with Roger for lunch.
Then guess what happened.
IT RAINED
We then continued through New York and back across the Ticonderoga ferry.

Then home.
About 425 miles round trip.

Great pics, Bill. They look as good as we all felt. Was a good day, and let's hope we can go to Newport, VT as originally planned soon? Maybe this coming weekend? My rig is handling perfectly! Who knows? I like it so well that maybe I'll even make a few more payments on it?

Next weekend sounds good for me, Larry. Sounds like you're enjoying the new rig, so let's finally get together for that ride we never got to in the spring. I've never been to Newport, Vt before. Anybody else interested?

As long as they're not predicting rain all day, I'm likely in. I'll know for sure in a day or two.

Sunday (or Saturday) will work for me, ALTHOUGH the long range weather forecast right now is predicting 30% chance of rain for both days. I guess we'll have to wait and see what it looks like closer to the weekend, they'll probably change it a few times between now and then.

I think 30% is what the long range forecast predicted for last weekend and Sunday was a complete rain disaster! GULP! Hope they are better predictors for this coming weekend. Question

Not very encouraging. Here is the forecast for the area we were going to ride.

Sunday
Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 70s. Chance of rain 50 percent.

This may be true, Ralph, but what does that have to do with riding? At least some of us don't let a little white stuff keep the bikes in the garage. Just have to plug in the heated jacket and gloves if it gets too chilly. Cool Cool Cool
