There are 6 known HPS rigs in New England.
Anyone interested in a one day ride near the white mountains of New Hampshire?
We could all meet some Saturday in New Hampshire and go for a ride.
Not Just HPS rigs, anyone that would like to go for a ride or just check out the rigs is more than welcome.

Where in NH would you meet? The thought of seeing SIX HPS rigs at once makes me giddy. I saw 4T's Hayabusa rig at the Western Maine Meet. Wow. What I wouldn't give to drive something like that.

If you guys are up for a little longer ride, The Owl's Head Meet outside of Rockland, ME, at the Owl's Head Transportation Museum is a fun event. Usually involves an antique aircraft air show. The meet is Sunday Sept. 3.

I'm definitely interested, though technically not quite a New Englander. I have been known to ride my rig a few miles in order to meet up with others, though. Scheduling a group ride can become complicated - just two of us - Larry and I never were able to get together before Maggie Valley. For what it's worth, I'm available any weekend EXCEPT Aug 19-20 or Saturday of Labor Day weekend (Sunday and Monday are open, though).

ok, I can go on the 20th. after that the next option for me would be the Sept 10th

so it looks like if we did it on the 20th we would have

myself
Bill
Larry
Paul
meeting Roger in Newport
wating to here from Dave Z with Hannigan Bandito

Dar, are you sure you can't do the 20th? Sad

It depends on how much fun I've had on the 19th. I'll be at my 40th high school class reunion in Syracuse, NY that day and evening (first I've attended in 20 years), and driving back home sometime late Saturday night.
Keep me posted on where and when you're meeting up, and I'll see what condition I'm in Sunday morning.

Great map Bill! You make a superb Tour Guide and have my vote for that permanent office. The trip sounds teriffic. Now we all should pray for good weather--as that always helps. Rolling Eyes

I will be leaving my house in Vermont at 7:15 a.m. sharp for the Woodstock Inn in North Woodstock, NH as it is a good 2.5 hours away for me. If Dar or anyone else wants to join me, just let me know and we'll figure out where to meet. Question Question Now to go and polish my rig. Big Grin

Not to be argumentative, but, Yes I can. I do have to admit, though, that I have very rarely been accused of acting my age. Big Grin

Thanks to Bill McS for posting the map and ride plan. As I said earlier, I'm not sure how that weekend will work out for me, but maybe hooking up at your lunch stop is a little more likely than earlier in the day. Or maybe it will rain on the 20th, and I can make it on the rain date. Big Grin
