The semi that was a month behind schedule rolled into Hammond
Wisconsin and loaded up my new trailer with the CSR strapped
down to it. The CSR that's been sitting in my Dad's heated
garage all winter long.
Some time in the next 5 to 7 days, if all things go as planned...
that semi will roll into Santa Cruz and they'll roll that trailer
off the back with the CSR no worse for wear.
I bought the CSR in early December. Imagine you bought a fire
breathing top of the line best of the best death-eating-a-cracker
sportbike... and had to wait six months before you could even
lay a hand on it.
Waiting sucks.

Moike, are you going to drive it on the street or is going to be strictly a track rig
Look forward to seeing it naked. |

Given the rough weekend lots of us had... it was a nice change
of pace to see the semi blaze by the windows of my work with
the CSR/trailer loaded on the back. She was dirty from the trip,
but no worse for wear. Sarah and I got her back to the house,
got her off the trailer... and cleaned her up.
Six months of waiting... finally over.
She fired right up, and Sarah popped in the cockpit like it was
made just for her. We have a pretty long driveway between the
houses here where I live... so I rolled it back as far as I could
get it, hopped on the passenger platform, and told Sarah to take
her out.
We went up the driveway, I pushed her into a three point turn,
and she drove her back. First gear the whole time, 170 HP of
CBR1000RR on Sarah's right fingertip.
We stopped in the garage, she shut it off... and said, "The RGM,
that's yours.. this one is mine. Her and I have bonded."
